Ignoring a women's importance

The more you choose to disregard a woman, the more you are inadvertently teaching her to live without you. This is precisely why I always advise men to only ignore women they have no interest in pursuing. It's crucial not to ignore someone you still love because, by the time you return, she may have become accustomed to living without you. Even a mere two weeks of silence from you can completely change her mindset. 

 If you decide to call after that, it may no longer matter because you may not hold the same importance in her life. You must always remember that there is life beyond you, and as a man, you are easily replaceable. It's unwise to assume that a woman's life will stop without you, as there will always be other men vying for her attention. Eventually, she may give one of them a chance, and your relationship with her will come to an end abruptly
